Vancouver, Wash. – iQ Credit Union (iQ), a modern, member-owned financial institution in the Pacific Northwest, has officially broken ground on its new Ridgefield, Wash. branch. Located on Pioneer Street, just northwest of the current branch, the new location is expected to open in mid-2025. This expansion reflects iQ’s ongoing efforts to grow with the community it has been serving for nearly two decades.
“I’m excited that construction is beginning on our new Ridgefield branch,“ said Ali Migaki, chief experience officer at iQ. “I started working at the existing branch 16 years ago. The Ridgefield community has been a vital part of our credit union for so long, and we’re thrilled to offer improved convenience and accessibility for our members, plus freshen things up with a modern welcoming design, easier access, drive up lanes, and even more services.”
In addition to Ridgefield, iQ is expanding its presence in Oregon with a new branch in Sherwood, located on Langer Farms Parkway in a new development currently under construction. The Sherwood branch is scheduled to open late in 2025 and will provide iQ members with greater access to financial services in the growing Oregon market.
“We’re thrilled to be opening a branch in Sherwood next year,” Migaki added. “This expansion is part of our commitment to making financial services more accessible and bringing iQ’s brand of financial wellness to even more communities, with branch locations that offer convenience and the personalized service our members expect.”
The Sherwood branch will include a drive-up lane, offering additional convenience for members, along with a range of services designed to meet the needs of the growing community.
The Ridgefield branch will feature two drive-up lanes, a drive-up ATM, mortgage, insurance, and investment services, as well as the same friendly team members who have served the community for years. The current Ridgefield location will remain open until the new branch is completed.
