“We’re honored to be recognized for our efforts to build strong, resilient communities,” said Ali Migaki, chief experience officer. “We believe every step we take with our members and partners brings meaningful change. Thanks to the generous matching of FHLB Des Moines Member Impact Fund, iQ is able to deepen the impact to causes that matter most to us and help local organizations have the resources they need to grow and thrive.”
The recognition from the Portland Business Journal celebrates iQ’s community programs, from financial education to partnerships with local nonprofits. Now, through FHLB Des Moines’ Member Impact Fund, iQ is matching grants to support a range of local organizations with donations totaling $62,000:
- Lighthouse Financial Foundation – $10,000 to promote financial literacy

- Northwest Association for Blind Athletes – $20,000 to support visually impaired athletes
- Columbia Play Project – $10,000 to enhance educational play opportunities
