Vancouver, Wash. -- College comes with big books, big lecture halls, and big amounts of homework. These days, it also comes with a big price tag. That‘s why iQ Credit Union is pleased to offer five scholarships every year to students in Southwest Washington and the Portland metro area.
Our five scholarship recipients for 2020 are:
Jayna Hanes is graduating from Columbia River High School and will be attending Montana State University majoring in Nursing. Charlotte Martin is graduating through River Homelink and will be attending Liberty University Online majoring in Education. Alexa Fuhrer is graduating from Lincoln High School and will be attending Tulane University Honors College majoring in Cellular Biology. Tori Amber Benavente is currently attending Washington State University Vancouver and is pursuing her masters in teaching Secondary Education. Symphony Koss is attending Stanford University majoring in Biology of Neuroscience.
iQ Credit Union is proud to award scholarships to help support the continued education of students in our community. “This scholarship means that I get to continue my education and pursue my dreams. It’s also very rewarding to be recognized for all the hard work that I have been putting in these past four years,” says scholarship recipient Jayna Hanes.
“This scholarship will help me to pursue a higher education. I will then use my discipline to have a fulfilling career where I can serve others,” says scholarship recipient Charlotte Martin.
