iQ Credit Union’s Commitment to Inclusion and Belonging Recognized with Excellence Award

The credit union received an Excellence in HR & Organizational Development award from the Credit Union National Association HR Council 

April 29, 2022 – iQ Credit Union was honored with an Excellence in HR and Organizational Development award by the CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council at an awards luncheon this week.  

The credit union was recognized for its commitment to continue building an inclusive community in which individuals are welcomed, respected, supported, and valued.  

With the emergency of COVID-19 in 2020, iQ looked to increase employee engagement through a new employee group, the Inclusion and Belonging Task Force (IBTF), launched in January 2021. The task force accomplished much in the year since its inception – including launching awareness-building initiatives and events, providing employees with additional time off for reflection and self-growth around diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and developing relationships with new community partners. 

“There is always more we can do and should do to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion here at iQ and in the communities we serve,” said Eric Petracca, President/CEO at iQ Credit Union. “But I also want to take a moment to recognize the success of the task force for continuing to bring your enthusiasm and tenacity to this important work.”
